Two words - Guitar Hero

I hate the holidays, I really truly do, but on New Years Day, determined to break out of my funk, somehow, I opted for a little retail therapy with the idea that I'd buy MYSELF a game for the Wii. Not something on clearance, not something Bill and Laura would like... no. Something for ME.

And I came home w/ Guitar Hero.

I have been having a BLAST. Oh, I suck at anything above 'beginner' but I don't care.

It's really nice to laugh. :)

I'm pretty sure the best moment today was going hermit-crab shopping with Laura.

Hermies are sooooo cute!

Man, I stink at posting every day. Great intentions, crappy follow through.

It's almost 4:30 in the afternoon, and I think the best moment - beating passionate smooches with Bill - has been online textbook shopping with Laura. Was really fun.

Today's a tossup between Laura's continual glee over getting a PSP, and me taking a nap this afternoon with Bill.

Late again. Sigh.

Okay, Wednesday's best moment was the three of us having lunch out yesterday while running errands. It was just nice, ya know?

I think the best moment today was getting line edits from Sam for Stain's Chapter 1.

Today the best thing was when Bill called and said he was in an accident but he was okay.

The car doesn't matter, Bill is all right.

I am going to have to make myself write these at a decent time of night. When I'm routinely up till 4 am... I forget.

Anyway, Sunday's best moment was getting a hug from Laura.

Maaan, I could have sworn I posted on Thursday.

Anyway, today's best moment was knowing that Christmas was DONE other than the three of us next week. I am so glad that's over!

Was just a great day with Bill, all around.

Today's best moment was getting my kitchen clean after trashing it making cookies and toffee.

I found out a dear friend is pregnant! Woot!

Waking up with a completely new and non-Dubric story idea which I actually got written down!

Laura cooked lunch, chuck roast, and it was glorious!

Cuddling with Bill in the wee hours of this morning before he got up to start his day.

Got a very nice email from another agent in my agent's office thanking me for sending them a yummy Christmas present.

My daughter's home!

Bill made me breakfast this morning, just because. Bacon, eggs, and toast. Even ran the dishwasher.

It's nice to be loved. :)

Talking to Laura on the phone about finals, her ear infection, Christmas plans, and her coming home Wednesday.

Playing 'Monster Under The Blanket' with Malaysia while watching Modern Marvels.
